Our fundamental approach to wedding photography is to work with the bride & groom in order to achieve exactly the results that they are looking for. As photographers we bring our enthusiasm and ideas to the table. Tristan will carefully listen to your requirements and by doing this will provide you with a set of photographs that you will cherish for the rest of your lives. Five Steps to your Wedding Photographs1 Meeting you Our fundamental approach is to build a rapport so that our ideas and enthusiasm are able to combine with and compliment your wishes. 2 Venue and location meeting The best photographs are captured when the photographer and subjects (in this case you) are relaxed and have a rapport, or relationship. Relationships are built up over time and it is for this reason that we like to meet up at least once after the initial consultation, before the big day itself. We find that the most effective time to meet is at the wedding rehearsal or reception venue (or both) as it gives us all time to get to know each other a little and for you to become used to being photographed. 3 The Big Day Couples have found that the best results come from my photographing the whole day starting with the bride’s preparations to the first dance but I am completely flexible and will `tailor` the day to suit you. After the ceremony, we begin the formal family / group shots and then continue to the reception, perhaps stopping for a `location shoot' (forest or sea) if you wish. At the reception, after more formal shots, I endeavour to capture those delightful little moments between your friends that the bride and groom so often miss, (the day passes in such a blur), but which often turn out to be the most treasured photographs of all. I will then continue to the cake cutting, the first dance or even later if you prefer, the choices are entirely yours. 4 After the honeymoon On return from your honeymoon we meet up again to review the proofs together and make final choices. Your friends and family will then be able to view all of the photographs taken during your wedding online, in your own private gallery, and from these you can choose the pictures that will make up your album 5 The album I deliver your album or photographs to you but I keep the online gallery open for your friends and family to have time to select photographs for themselves. I wish you both every happiness for your wedding Day whether you choose me for your photographer or not Please click the gallery link in the bottom right hand corner for more images. |
